LABICO kitchen sponge with super fiber and micro kill action
The antibacterial fiber of Labico kitchen sponges provides long-lasting antibacterial efficacy against a broad spectrum of gram-positive (e.g. Staphylococcus aureus) as well as gram-negative bacteria (e.g. Escherichia coli and Salmonella) which are often found in contaminated food and involved in infectious diseases.
Bacteria will be inhibited in their growth on the surface of the humid scourer and even killed by time. The antibacterial efficacy can be shown by agar diffusion tests.
In this test, the antibacterial fiber is applied to an agar disc containing bacteria. During incubation, the antibacterial ingredient diffuses into the agar and inhibit the growth of the bacteria.
In the case of an antibacterial effect, the bacterial growth is inhibited around the fiber material.
The long-term and wash resistant antibacterial effects are influenced by the antibacterial concentration available on the fiber and the fixation of the antimicrobial ingredient in the fiber material
Offered in 3 different colors in order to satisfy the HACCP requirements.
